Construction Begins on China Mobile’s Large Multimedia Call Center in Chengdu

April 16--Construction on the large and modern multimedia call center funded by China Mobile started at the Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Sichuan Province on April 11th. The center will have 6,000-8,000 members of staff dedicated to customer services, thus becoming China’s largest center of this type. Sources at China Mobile’s Sichuan Branch said that establishment of the center is part of China Mobile’s strategy to support the development of Western China.
